  6.   _L_i_n_u_x_c_o_n_f knows little about the gated server. Basically, it knows

  12.   _L_i_n_u_x_c_o_n_f knows how to start and restart the gated server depending on
  13.   the status of the file //eettcc//ggaatteedd..ccoonnff.  At this point this is all
  14.   _L_i_n_u_x_c_o_n_f is doing about it.

  16.   Given that the gated configuration is fairly difficult to understand,
  17.   it is expected that _L_i_n_u_x_c_o_n_f will learn how to configure it sooner or
  18.   later.

  22.   gated is a complex beast. gated has two usage at this time

  24.   ╖  Replacement for the buggy routed daemon.

  26.   ╖  Full blown dynamic routing for complex network.

  28.   gated is probably overkill for most private IP network. We are still
  29.   waiting for the dust to settle in the area before putting more efforts
  30.   on dynamic routing configuration.
